ST. JOHN'S, NEWFOUNLAND AND LABRADOR - Fortis Inc. ("Fortis" or the "Corporation") (TSX:FTS)(NYSE:FTS) today announced a US$100,000 contribution to the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

The US$100,000 contribution is made in partnership by Fortis Inc. and its subsidiary utilities Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. (New York), ITC Holdings Corp. (Michigan) and Arizona based UNS Energy Corp.
